Microsoft faces a series of outages affecting Microsoft Teams users in North and South America. This is the second outage reported in the last three days. Users report connectivity issues and delays in sending and receiving messages on mobile and desktop Teams clients.
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is actively investigating the situation. The official Microsoft 365 status account on X has provided information stating that the problem affects users in North America, Canada, and Brazil.

The earlier issue, affecting customers across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, was attributed to an undisclosed networking issue impacting a portion of the database infrastructure used by multiple APIs. Microsoft resolved the issue within approximately 12 hours, but users continued to report problems, including delays in message delivery and Teams clients crashing.
