Google has expanded access to its AI-powered video creation tool, Google Vids, to more Google Workspace users. Starting April 29, 2025, customers on Business Starter, Enterprise Starter, and Nonprofit editions will have full access to Google Vids, including its powerful AI features for a limited time.
Originally available only to select Workspace editions, Google Vids is designed to simplify video creation at work. It allows users with little or no video editing experience to produce engaging videos using generative AI tools.

With features like “Help me create,” users can turn prompts and documents into editable storyboards. The app also offers stock media, AI voiceovers, scripts, and background music suggestions to help build a polished video draft quickly.
Additionally, a new capability—Veo 2—will soon let users generate custom video clips directly within the app, further reducing time spent on content sourcing. For 12 months, the AI features will remain free for the newly eligible Workspace tiers, encouraging users to explore and adopt video storytelling at work.
Vids is available through the web and supports Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (Windows only). While the app supports multiple languages, AI features are currently limited to English. Admins can manage access through the Google Admin console
