Xbox just pushed out its June update, and it brings two major changes players have been asking for. First up: Copilot for Gaming, Microsoft’s AI assistant, is now live across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 11. This marks the first time Xbox’s generative AI steps directly into gameplay not to play the game for you, but to answer questions, offer tips, and even help troubleshoot.
You can ask it things like “How do I beat this boss?” or “What’s the fastest way to level up?” and Copilot will pull from support docs, community guides, and official game info to give you real-time help. Microsoft says Copilot doesn’t rely on just a single source, it blends info from across the Xbox ecosystem and uses context from your current screen or game.

Second, Xbox finally delivers a unified game library. The new layout brings together all your owned titles, Game Pass content, EA Play, and cloud games into one clean interface. You can now filter by platform, play status, or service, and pin games you want quick access to.
Microsoft is rolling out both features starting today. Copilot will first support English, with more languages coming later this year. The new library experience is already hitting Xbox consoles and PC apps with this update.
It’s a big shift for Xbox, one that blends AI support with smarter content management, just in time for summer.
