Xbox One hardware sales continue to grow, Xbox One S White Controller was July's top revenue generating accessory according to the NPD Group

The NDP Group has released its data for the video games industry for the month of July 2018 and while Nintendo absolutely dominated in most categories, Microsoft’s Xbox One is still boasting impressive gains.
According to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella, “Xbox One hardware sales continue to trend higher. Dollar sales grew nearly 50 percent in July and have now increased by more than 60 percent year to date.”
“The Xbox One S White Controller was July’s top revenue generating Accessory,” he continued in a tweet thread. “While the PS4 DualShock 4 Black Controller has driven the highest dollar sales of any Accessory year to date.”
The best-selling games across all platforms in terms of dollar sales are as follows:
- Octopath Traveler*
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Mario Kart 8*
- Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild*
- Far Cry 5
- Super Mario Odyssey*
- The Crew 2
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege
- Mario Tennis Aces*
*No digital sales
As for Xbox One, the best-selling games in July 2018 in the United States were:
