June 2, 2025 – Microsoft has pushed out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.4230 (KB5058506) to the Beta Channel, packed with new features and key fixes.

A standout update is the Quick Machine Recovery page in Settings. Found under System > Recovery, this tool helps users fix boot issues by pulling fixes directly from Microsoft. Users can enable automated checks and manage restart settings. IT admins can configure this via Intune’s Settings Catalog.

Click to Do now supports text actions in German, Italian, and Portuguese. French and Spanish users regain Rewrite and Refine options. Microsoft also improved Phone Link, letting users mirror Android devices and access iPhone photos straight from the Start menu.

Copilot+ PCs get key search fixes after semantic indexing crashed in previous builds. Microsoft also resolved Start menu and File Explorer crashes, along with Bluetooth and Quick Settings bugs.

Some features, like lock screen widgets and Dolby Vision HDR, are paused due to issues. Xbox controller users may experience crashes via Bluetooth, but a Device Manager fix is available.

Insiders using the update toggle will see gradual rollouts, with Microsoft continuing its controlled feature testing approach for Windows 11 version 24H2.
