Twitch today launched its first desktop broadcasting app for streamers with Twitch Studio. The Studio app is an all in one app that will allow Streamers to get started on the platform, manging everything from stream set up to community engagement.
There’s a guided set up to help users get started, customizable streaming templates and a built-in activity feed with chats.

The beta is rolling out now to what Twitch says is a limited group of streamers. While you can apply to be in it, it is not exactly guaranteed entry and only a few people will make the first batch.
Nevertheless, it does show that Twitch is taking the concerns of its userbase seriously, even as Microsoft’s Mixer shows signs of life.
