Tip: How to download offline maps

Here is another in our a series of articles, offering tips and tricks for both beginners and experienced users, courtesy of How to Windows Phone.

Windows phone allows you to use offline maps so that you can use the maps even when you don’t have an internet connection. You can download any amount of maps and have it in your phone.

1. Navigate to settings.
2. Swipe right to the “applications” tab.
3. Tap on “maps”.
4. Tap on “download maps” button.
5. Press on the “+” button on the menu bar.
6. Select the map you want to download.

Note that you will need to remain in the same page till the download completes.
