Microsoft announced today that it has commenced delivery of Surface Hub 3 to early adopters. It’s more than just an interactive whiteboard.

The latest premier all-in-one meeting device comes in two sizes, 50-inch and 85-inch, which both support 4k resolution. The Microsoft Teams-friendly “state-of-the-art” device also supports Smart Rotation and portrait mode and revamps its meeting experience and Surface design.

“Surface Hub 3 is not just another collaboration tool; it’s a comprehensive solution that redefines the dynamics of team interaction. It’s built on the principles of intuitive use, versatility, and integration with Microsoft Teams Rooms,” Microsoft boasts in the official announcement.

Announced back in September this year, the Surface Hub 3 also has a Smart AV intelligent audio feature. It optimizes audio based on device orientation (portrait or landscape), and it’s extremely useful, especially for the 50-inch version which has two microphone arrays and speaker pairings.

Teams Rooms on Windows will now work with various devices, including Surface Hub 3, in addition to traditional desktop setups. And, if you have a Surface Hub 2S before, you can migrate to Hub 3 easily.

You can order Surface Hub 3 on Microsoft’s website and find an authorized reseller there.
