Id Software is ready to unleash Doom: The Dark Ages on May 15, bringing players a brand-new single-player experience packed with intense combat, exploration, and a rich story. Game director Hugo Martin calls it “the best Doom game we’ve ever made,” promising 22 action-packed levels, innovative weapons like the Shield Saw and Reaver Chainshot, and thrilling new enemies.
A standout addition is the Cosmic Realm, a never-before-seen Lovecraftian dimension filled with massive, dark architecture and terrifying foes. Players will face brutal enemies like the Cosmic Baron and a newly designed hybrid Cacodemon, pushing their skills to the limit with aggressive combat mechanics and deadly precision.

Built on the new idTech 8 engine, Doom: The Dark Ages will deliver massive environments, dynamic lighting through ray tracing, and smooth 60 FPS gameplay on PlayStation 5. Martin promises bigger battles, more destruction, and an overall better, faster gaming experience.
