Rebellion releases Atomfall’s Wicked Isle expansion on June 3, bringing players to a creepy new island off the Cumberland coast. The update adds a full new map, fresh characters, dangerous enemies, and multiple new endings to the game.

Set five years after the Windscale Disaster, Atomfall drops you in a quarantine zone full of eerie ruins and strange factions. Wicked Isle builds on that with a fog-drenched, isolated land steeped in pagan rituals and Cold War fear. Inspired by real places like Lindisfarne and Anthrax Island, it features an old Abbey, abandoned fishing village, and unsettling experiments.

Players reach the island by boat from Wyndham. There, they’ll uncover new storylines that tie into the game’s core mystery. Some plot threads lead back to the Windscale Plant, while others reveal twisted local history. You’ll need to return to the mainland to collect key items and clues to unlock different endings.

New gear includes a blunderbuss, upgraded metal detectors, and cult-themed weapons. Players also gain new abilities, some very weird. Hostile cultists, nautical raiders, and mutated creatures all stand in your way.

Wicked Isle is available as a separate purchase, in the Deluxe Edition, or with a 10% discount for Game Pass subscribers.
