On May 29, PlayStation revealed new details about Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, the Soulslike action-RPG hitting PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 24. Developed by Leenzee and published by 505 Games, the game throws players into a dark reimagining of late Ming Dynasty China.

You play as Bai Wuchang, a pirate cursed with “Feathering,” – a condition that grants powerful abilities while slowly consuming her mind. That power can save your life, but overuse will push her closer to madness.

Combat focuses on player choice and punishment. You’ll get 25 weapons and 40 spells, each offering distinct strategies. Heavy weapons like the Dragoncoil Lance land massive crowd control blows, while spells such as Infernal Flames and Echo of Liu Cheng’en tap into Taoist mysticism for ranged attacks and support.

Pre-orders come with the Night & White Pack: two outfits, a Vermillion War Club, and a Red Mercury skill. The Deluxe Edition adds even more gear and upgrades.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers doesn’t ease you in. Every fight, ability, and upgrade has weight, and every decision has a consequence. This isn’t just another Soulslike. It’s a myth-soaked test of skill and restraint.
