YouTube and Netflix apps coming soon to Tesla cars

The inside of Tesla cars is unlike any other cars, Model S for example comes with an expansive 17-inch touchscreen while the Model 3 comes with a 15-inch touchscreen. Recently, Tesla announced Arcade experience which brings games like Beach Buggy Racing 2 and Chess to Tesla cars. Today, Elon Musk announced that Tesla will soon release YouTube and Netflix apps to Tesla cars. For now, both these apps will work only when the car is stopped. When full self-driving is approved by regulators, Tesla will enable video while moving.

Recently, Elon Musk said that he would consider opening the Tesla infotainment platform more broadly to third-party developers for both apps and games in the future.
