First, draft your message using your own words. This will help me understand the context of your text. It can also generate context using the old emails from your thread. If you do not want to draft your own text, simply click on the Help me write icon second from the Send button. Enter your prompt or reply, You can then enhance the reply by clicking on Refine.

Now, if you want to generate the reply in Japanese, you have to prompt it. You will have to draft my reply in Japanese/Korean. Then you will get the draft in your desired language. If you are satisfied with the draft, click on Insert. Before the recent update, you could generate the reply in Italian, French, and German. The feature will be rolling out gradually from 7 April 2025. You will be getting it in seven days from the rollout date.
