Windows 10's ‘No Internet Connection’ issue gets quietly fixed by Microsoft

Last week, we reported that a recent update to Windows 10 broke internet connections for some users due to an issue with DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) on Windows. The issue affected quite a lot of Windows 10 users, especially those from Europe, US, and the UK. Yesterday, Microsoft has fixed the issue on Windows 10 which broke internet connections for some users. The company released the fix with the cumulative update KB3206632 yesterday. stating:

Addressed a service crash in CDPSVC that in some situations could lead to the machine not being able to acquire an IP address.

The software giant added a notice regarding the issue on the official Windows 10 Update History page, stating:

If you are experiencing issues connecting to the internet we recommend you restart your PC by going to Start, clicking the Power button, then choosing Restart (not Shut down).
