Sea of Thieves’ huge closed beta is currently underway, but players can help shape the game in more ways than one. While you’re off on your journey to become the world’s greatest pirate, you can also design an achievement that may make its way into the final product. Rare has made it clear in the past that Sea of Thieves is being built around its community, so this looks to be another way to involve more players in the game and its creation.

Over on Sea of Thieves’ official forums (via IGN), players can submit their ideas for an achievement during the closed beta’s duration. To do so, you’ll need to come up with a name for your achievement (no more than 44 characters) plus a description of no more than 100 characters. Though it’s not mandatory, you can also suggest an image to go along with your achievement.

The winner of the contest will see their achievement show up in the final game. In addition, they’ll receive an exclusive piece of signed artwork, as well as “a whole bunch of Sea of Thieves booty!”

Sea of Thieves releases on March 20, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. It was also revealed that it will be added to the Xbox Game Pass program on the same day as its global release, as part of an expansion that Microsoft Studios announced for the subscription service.
