Sea of Thieves' biggest play session ever kicks off today

Check your emails if you’re part of the Sea of Thieves Insider Program because the game’s largest play session to date is kicking off today.
Rare previously stated that anyone who signed up for the Insider Program before December would be invited to Sea of Thieves’ next technical test, and it looks like that day has finally arrived for everyone. From today, December 14 through Wednesday, December 20 players can participate in Sea of Thieves’ biggest play session ever.
If you’re just downloading it for the first time on Xbox, head to the Store, install the Xbox Insider Hub, launch the app and you’ll find Sea of Thieves waiting for you. Once sessions are live you are free to jump in and play.
Sea of Thieves launches on March 20, 2018 for Xbox One and PC. It will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so buying one digital copy gives you access to the game on both platforms. Sea of Thieves is also set to receive Xbox One X enhancements and will support 4K resolution and HDR. You can pre-order it from the Microsoft Store.
You can also try to purchase a limited edition Sea of Thieves controller, but act fast because pre-orders from the Microsoft Store are selling out quick.
