Update 2: myTube 3.0 is free for Xbox One and other platforms for the next 3 days so be sure to pick it up.
Windows and Xbox One fans, rejoice! myTube 3.0 is finally here! You can purchase it right now on the store. While PC owners probably won’t be interested, for Xbox One owners this is like the second coming of Jesus. The official YouTube program on the console is absolutely horrendous and myTube 3.0 is the best alternative out there. Not only is it easy to use, but it’s also fluid and responsive. If you’re fed up with Google’s software, you should get this right now.

myTube 3.0 is a YouTube alternative built to keep your video playing no matter what. By lightly fading the video into the background, you can continue to watch while you read comments, browse channels and videos, and everything else you can do in the app. If you can do something in the app, then you can do it while watching a video!
Update 1: The Xbox One version should appear on the Xbox Store in 12-24 hours according to the developers. When asked about why the title wasn’t available for Xbox One yet despite their announcement, the developer provided us with the following statement:
Should be ready in 12 to 24 hours. The store needs some time to update the app listing to show Xbox support, since this is the first release of the app on the console. After this initial release, you will receive all future updates immediately just like PC and console users do.
You can buy the app right now and it should automatically appear on your Xbox One by tomorrow. We’ve tested out myTube 3.0 and it’s a fantastic experience.
