Teams just announced a much-needed safety feature for its users. The new feature will alert all the members on the call whenever sensitive content is on screen. It will actively monitor the call and alert the organizer and attendees if there is any sensitive content on the call. This feature was announced in the entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, and it works seamlessly.

Now, if you are worried about all the personal and confidential data that will not be saved, real-time monitoring is only being done for the sensitive content shared on the screen. So, all your classified documents, presentations, and information are safe. Once Microsoft Teams identifies such information being shared, it alerts the presenter that their sensitive information is visible to others. This allows the presenter to take swift action and ensure privacy.
This feature is built to prevent accidental exposure of sensitive information during calls or meetings. It also helps maintain professionalism during calls. Microsoft will implement this feature for everyone in May 2025. Alongside this, Teams will also get Facial recognition and Cloud IntelliFrame technology.
