Key notes

  • Microsoft launched the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.751 Dev channel.
  • The update brings previous improvements from this week’s Canary update.
  • One of them is the new “Suggested Replies” for Phone Link app, as well as new Copilot behavior.

It’s that time of the week again for Windows 11 insiders. Microsoft has just launched the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.751, or the KB5037874 update, for folks in the Dev channel.

From the look of it, however, there haven’t been a lot of changes in this build. The Redmond tech giant seems to be testing all the features and tidbits rolling out for the Canary channel (Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26227) that arrived earlier this week — minus Emoji 15.1 support.

One of the features being tested is the “Suggested Replies” on the Phone Link app for Android. Microsoft says that it’s “powered by our cloud-based intelligent suggestion model,” and it looks just like an automated reply that you can just click when you don’t feel like responding.

Phone Link also arrived on iOS a little while ago, but it’s still unclear whether this very feature has made it to iPhone and iPad users.

Other than that, the KB5037874 update for Windows 11 insiders in the Dev channel also brings the new Copilot behavior. Now, the AI-powered tool is an app pinned to the taskbar, allowing resizing and moving. The WIN + C shortcut is retired, with new devices using a Copilot key and existing devices using WIN + (taskbar number) to open it.

There are also obvious general improvements and fixes here and there.
