Google just rolled out a new update for Classroom, giving teachers in South Korea a smoother way to handle student data. As of today, Google Classroom now supports two-way data sync with Bubblecon’s STLink, which is a widely used student information system in the region.
The feature lets teachers export grades from Classroom directly into STLink and pull key classroom data back in. That includes student rosters, co-teacher assignments, grading periods, and category settings. The system uses the OneRoster format from 1EdTech, a standard meant to make SIS integrations easier.
Admins must first activate the link between the two platforms. That means heading to the Classroom admin console, selecting STLink under the SIS menu, and authorizing the connection using OAuth credentials. Once connected, the sync becomes available to teachers immediately.

Teachers can export grades by opening a class, clicking the Grades tab, and selecting SIS export. For imports, they’ll find options in the Settings or People tabs depending on the data they want to pull in, including grading periods, categories, co-teachers, or student lists.
The rollout applies to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. It’s available for Education Plus and the Teaching & Learning Upgrade users.
This move helps Google tighten its grip on edtech in Asia and makes Classroom more useful for schools that rely on STLink to manage their classrooms at scale.
