Free ChatGPT Plus for Students Until May 31 - Announces OpenAI

OpenAI has announced that ChatGPT Plus will be free for students in the U.S. and Canada from March 31 to May 31, 2025. Normally priced at $20 per month, the premium version offers access to GPT-4 Turbo, faster responses, and priority during high-traffic periods.

This offer is available to full-time and part-time students at degree-granting schools. Students can claim the offer by verifying their student status through SheerID. If their school isn’t listed, they can request to add it. Existing ChatGPT Plus users can also claim the offer by verifying their student status, and their account will be credited automatically.

This limited time offer can make it an amazing study companion for students as it can summarize lecture notes, simplify difficult topics, help with writing and citing papers, devise ?ashcards and study guides, and practice new languages.
