Facebook (now Meta)’s woes are continuing, with the company suffering another outage with its Messenger service.
The problem started about 90 minutes ago and appears to be ongoing. When you visit the Messenger.com page the page is empty with no previous messages or contacts or fails to load completely.
A Meta employee has acknowledged the issue, noting Workplace Chats and Instagram DMs were also affected:
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Messenger, Workplace Chat and Instagram DMs.
We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience. #instagramdown

The problem appears to be resolving at present, however.
