Dell has launched a new ultra-wide QHD monitor. Dubbed as the Dell UltraSharp U4919DW, it’s a 49-inch monitor with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels.
The monitor comes with the 3800R curvature and 109 pixels-per-inch. Apart from that, it also has a 100% sRGB support for accurate colours. Coming to the ports, the Dell monitor has an HDMI, DisplayPort. USB-C support combined with the keyboard, video, and mouse (KDM) functionality. The KDM functionality will allow you to connect one machine via USB-C and the second using HDMI/DisplayPort with a USB upstream and use keyboard shortcuts via Dell’s Display Manager app to control all the peripherals.
The Dell UltraSharp U4919DW will cost a whopping $1,599. There’s no word on when it will be available but it’s safe to assume that it will launch first in the US followed by Europe and Asia.
