On July 10, 2025, Team Asobi will release a significant free update for Astro Bot, introducing five new levels in the Vicious Void Galaxy. This addition increases the game’s total stages to over 90, offering players fresh challenges that demand precision and skill.
The upcoming levels are titled – “Twin-Frog Trouble,” “Suck It Up,” “Handhold Havoc,” “High Inflation.” While the fifth is an undisclosed stage, these levels are designed to test players’ abilities. Each level also introduces new Special Bots, including an addition from Ghost of Y?tei.

Sony also plans to launch an updated Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller later this year. This refreshed version features a redesigned touchpad, building upon the popularity of the original controller.
Astro Bot is developed by Team Asobi and was released in 2024. Since then, the game has garnered acclaim for its engaging platforming mechanics and creative level design. The game’s consistent updates, including the forthcoming Vicious Void levels, demonstrate the developers’ commitment to expanding the Astro Bot universe and providing players with new content.
Players can access the new content starting July 10, 2025, at 6:00 AM PT. The update will be available at no additional cost, continuing Team Asobi’s tradition of delivering free expansions to the Astro Bot experience.
