This initiative is part of Amazon’s broader strategy to integrate AI into its logistics and delivery operations. The company has announced the formation of a new group within its Lab126 unit dedicated to developing warehouse robots capable of performing multiple tasks, such as unloading trailers and retrieving parts for repairs. These advancements aim to increase efficiency, particularly during high-demand periods, and reduce emissions and waste.

According to a report by The Information, Amazon is enhancing its delivery services with AI-driven mapping tools to assist drivers in navigating complex locations. The company is also exploring the development of specialized eyeglasses embedded with screens to provide hands-free, real-time navigation assistance.
