Another game is getting cross-platform play support between Windows 10 and Xbox One very soon, and this time it’s Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Evolved.
Pretty stoked about the introduction of Win10 Crossplay with Xbox, including Aberration, coming this Thursday. Gonna be interesting to see how PC and Console players finally interact together 🙂 @survivetheark

Jeremy Stieglitz, Lead Designer and Co-creative Director on Ark: Survival Evolved, said that he’s interested in seeing how console players and PC players interact with one another. After being in Early Access and Game Preview up until August, this will be the first time cross-play is implemented in the game.
In addition, Ark’s next big expansion, Aberration, which adds a whole new map, dozens of new creatures, a new storyline, and more is out now.
“Waking up on ‘Aberration’, a derelict, malfunctioning ARK with an elaborate underground biome system, survivors face exotic new challenges unlike anything before: extreme radioactive sunlight and environmental hazards, ziplines, wingsuits, climbing gear, cave dwellings, charge-batteries, and far more, along with a stable of extraordinary new creatures await within the mysterious depths. But beware the ‘Nameless’: unrelenting, Element-infused humanoids which have evolved into vicious light-hating monstrosities! On Aberration, survivors will uncover the ultimate secrets of the ARKs, and discover what the future holds in store for those strong and clever enough to survive!”
Ark: Survival Evolved is currently on sale on Xbox One for $35.99 as part of this week’s Spotlight deals. It is also Xbox One X enhanced and features two graphics modes.
