Ark: Survival Evolved gets cross-play support this week

Another game is getting cross-platform play support between Windows 10 and Xbox One very soon, and this time it’s Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Evolved.

Pretty stoked about the introduction of Win10 Crossplay with Xbox, including Aberration, coming this Thursday. Gonna be interesting to see how PC and Console players finally interact together 🙂 @survivetheark

Jeremy Stieglitz, Lead Designer and Co-creative Director on Ark: Survival Evolved, said that he’s interested in seeing how console players and PC players interact with one another. After being in Early Access and Game Preview up until August, this will be the first time cross-play is implemented in the game.

In addition, Ark’s next big expansion, Aberration, which adds a whole new map, dozens of new creatures, a new storyline, and more is out now.

Ark: Survival Evolved is currently on sale on Xbox One for $35.99 as part of this week’s Spotlight deals. It is also Xbox One X enhanced and features two graphics modes.
