Amazon today has launched Prime Music for customers in India. The service allows Amazon Prime subscribers to stream and download songs. Back in December 2016, Amazon announced Prime Video for the Indian market and has now made Prime Music available in India as well.

Prime Music is free for Amazon Prime members and will come bundled with the Prime membership. The company also announced a partnership with music labels Saregama and Zee Music to stream its catalog content. Amazon Prime members can download the Prime Music app from the Google Play Store and sign in using their Amazon Account.

The App does support Indian Languages and you can select your preferred languages during the initial setup. We did try the regional content and it is limited but Amazon will expand the catalog in the near future. The app also lets you set the preferred streaming quality so you can save data when streaming using Mobile data. Apart from this, the app also has Alexa built-in so you can search songs using your voice.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store below. Do let us know your thoughts on this in the comments section below.
