There are a lot of power packs for phones nowadays, but finding a good power pack for laptops is difficult. With laptops getting thinner almost every month, their batteries are also getting weaker, and power packs for laptops are becoming a necessity for some. That’s where Romeo Power’s new Saber power pack comes in.

It’s a $199 power pack that boasts 86 watt-hours of power. Saber is capable of charging a phone more than 10 times, and it can charge a laptop two times. The power pack itself supports Fast Charging, so it can fully charge itself in only 2 hours. Saber comes with a single USB Type-C port, two regular USB Type-A ports, and even a variable AC which will let you plug-in any other device like you’d with a regular wall charger.

There’s also a smartphone app for the power pack that’ll let you track the status of your Saber, including things like the power pack’s battery life, or when it finishes charging. Saber comes with advanced power management technology built by Romeo Power, which will ensure the power pack doesn’t overcharge or overheat. Romeo Power is also trying to get an IP67 certification for Saber which will make the power pack dust and waterproof — but that’s under certification for the time being. The power pack is FAA and TSA approved, though.

Saber definitely sounds like a really good power pack for all of your gadgets, and if you are always on the move, it could turn out to be really useful. With all of the features and its massive 86 watt-hours of power, Saber sounds very promising, but whether Romeo Power will be able to deliver on all of its promises remains to be seen.

Either way, Saber starts shipping later this year in blue, red, and black. You can pre-order it today for $199, or buy it at the regular price of $299 after the release.
