Project xCloud PC footage Windows Central

The long-awaited xCloud PC game streaming experience might not be too far away as footage of the Xbox-based streaming solution has now been revealed.

Revealed by Windows Central as an exclusive first look, a full look at the xCloud PC experience is a fairly simple translation of the mobile streaming experience to PC gamers.

The video shows the in-development xCloud application running “flawlessly” on an ARM-based Surface device without any noticeable artefacting thanks to the use of high-speed internet.

Windows Central’s Zac Bowden explains that he felt no latency playing the games through xCloud PC on his Surface device.

Most interestingly,  the PC version of Microsoft’s video game streaming application has full touch controls for PCs, such as the Surface,  that support touch inputs. The video shows Streets of Rage 4 with the full xCloud touch functionality.
