For those who may be concerned about the future of Insider builds after the upcoming Anniversary Update, Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar has confirmed on twitter that the Windows Insider program will continue well after the Anniversary Update.
@Yogesh_Rya we will definitely keep pushing builds post-anniversary update. This system seems to work pretty well.

The insider program has been pretty successful, allowing testers/users to try new Windows builds while providing feedback on the direction on the future of the service. And with Redstone 2 expected to be released sometime in the first half of next year, those in the program should be expecting to keep receiving these builds before hand, just as theyve been receiving current Redstone builds since earlier this year.
“I want people in the Insiders program to feel like a part of our family,” she said. “I want them to feel like they have a seat at the table to help make this product better. And not just hardcore technical people.”
And with the new Xbox One Preview program, it only goes to show that Microsoft is really standing behind these early preview programs that allows it’s fan base to continue shaping the future of the company.
