You can now get Google One AI Premium for 50% off—NotebookLM Plus included

Google is back with a nice discount for students just in time for the new semester. The company is slashing the prices of Google One AI Premium subscriptions by 50%, which includes the new NotebookLM Plus.

The Mountain View tech giant is now integrating NotebookLM Plus into the Google One AI Premium at no extra cost, which expands its usage limits and customization options.

Initially, you need to pay %19.99/month, but if you’re an eligible student from the US aged 18 and above, you can get the subscription (which includes NotebookLM Plus) for as low as $9.99/month.

“This can help them work with more course materials, create custom study experts using Gemini Advanced, save time crafting emails and more,” Google says.

Previously available only through select Workspace editions, it is now accessible to all Google One AI Premium subscribers. The plan also includes Gemini Advanced, AI integration in Google apps, 2 TB of storage, and Deep Research capabilities.

NotebookLM, launched for the first time last year, can turn your boring lectures into interactive AI podcasts. It also supports YouTube URLs and audio file uploads (MP3, WAV) for analysis, expanding beyond Google Docs, PDFs, and web pages.

You can also generate insights, summaries, and FAQs with Audio Overviews that can be shared via public links.

With NotebookLM Plus, you’re basically getting all these NotebookLM features plus more Audio Overviews and sources per notebook, the ability to customize the style and tone as well as shared notebooks for others with usage analytics.
