azharsunny at xda-developers just posted a great tip on how to increase the touch sensitivity on HTC Diamond. I have tried the registry edits on my Touch Pro and not only they work, but the improvement is huge.
The tweak is rather easy, just follow the following steps:
- With a registry editor (Total Commander etc) navigate to the following folder: HKLM/Drivers/TouchPanel
- Change the PressureThreshold value to 80866 using decimal
- Navigate to the following folder: HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings
- Change FingerPressure value to 1
- Soft-Reset your device
If editing registry files is not your thing, you can try the cab file from the xda-developers thread.
I don’t really know if this will work on any device out there, but using the above tweak really helped in my case. I definitely have to reccomend this to everyone and you are welcome to leave your feedback on our comments section below!
