The Game Awards 2019 will release limited-time demos for 12 games, including System Shock

The Game Awards 2019 will see the release of twelve limited-time demos on Steam during the celebratory livestream. 

Part of an event called The Game Festival, a spin-off of sorts, will offer a bunch of unique demos for a short 48-hour period. After that, the demos will be removed from Steam.

“Six years ago I bet everything I had to create The Game Awards as a way to celebrate our passion for gaming,” announced Game Awards host and creator Geoff Keighley. “Now feels like the right time to take the next step with The Game Festival, a completely digital approach to the consumer event space.

“Let’s face it: Not everyone can attend a physical trade show or consumer event. The Game Festival is designed from the ground-up as an event without barriers, extending the benefits of a physical event to the global gaming community that watches The Game Awards.”

Even for those who don’t watch this year’s gaming awards show, The Game Festival still allows you to experience the wonders of video games and have fun doing it. There will be twelve demos in total, including the much-anticipated System Shock remake. The full list of game demos can be found below;
