We reported recently that the T-Mobile Lumia 640 may be hitting the carrier very soon, rather than the other rumoured July release date.
It seems that day may have come a lot sooner, as the handset has been seen already on sale at Walmart in Rochester, New York, according to Windows Phone fan Mark Dunn.
He snapped the above picture, showing the device will be retailing for $99.76 commitment-free, and noted that 2 came in stock and were sold out almost immediately.
The device features Windows Phone 8.1 update 2, a 5 inch HD screen, 8 megapixel camera and 8 GB of storage, and runs a Snapdragon 400 processor, making it a stonking deal at the price.

Thanks Kevin for the tip.
