On June 4, 2025, Sony’s State of Play broadcast delivered a packed lineup of game announcements and updates for PlayStation fans.
Sucker Punch Productions announced that Ghost of Y?tei, the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, will launch on October 2, 2025, exclusively for PS5. The game introduces a new protagonist, Atsu, navigating the turbulent era of 1603 Japan. A dedicated State of Play episode in July will provide an in-depth look at its evolved gameplay mechanics.
Team Ninja revealed Nioh 3, continuing the dark samurai action RPG series. A limited-time demo is available now on PS5, allowing players to experience the new dual combat styles: Samurai and Ninja.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a diverse lineup this summer, including Resident Evil 2 & 3, Twisted Metal series, and day-one releases like Sword of the Sea and FBC: Firebreak.
