On May 21, 2025, Microsoft launched the “Retro Classics” collection on Xbox Game Pass, featuring over 50 classic Activision titles from the 1980s and 1990s. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Antstream Arcade, brings games like Pitfall!, Commando, MechWarrior 2, Grand Prix, and Kaboom! to modern platforms.

Subscribers can access these games on Xbox consoles, PCs, and through cloud gaming on compatible devices, including LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, and Meta Quest headsets. The collection supports achievements, leaderboards, and introduces save-and-reload functionality to many of these titles for the first time.
