Silent Hill

Hardcore Silent Hill fans should be happy as Larry Hryb has announced that Silent Hill: HD Collection and Silent Hill Homecoming are joining the Xbox One backward compatibility catalogue starting today.

Silent Hill is one of the most renowned horror franchises ever made, and now you can play some of them on your Xbox One. The HD Collection ported Silent Hill 2 and 3 to Xbox 360 with a bump in visuals to run at 720p 30FPS. Silent Hill Homecoming originally released nearly 10 years ago. It follows soldier Alex Shepherd as he returns home only to find his little brother missing. On his journey to find him, he delves into the town’s dark history.

As of May 1, all gamerscore earned in Xbox 360 games will now count towards your monthly leaderboard totals on Xbox One. This should be some extra incentive to jump back into your favorite games.
