Samsung today sent out invites to the press for its upcoming Unpacked event. The event will be held on August 9th at NYC. Samsung is expected to announce the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 flagship smartphone at this event. The Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.3″ display, Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 processor, 6GB/8 GB RAM and storage up to 512 GB. Samsung is also rumoured to announce Galaxy Note 9 in 6 colours namely Black, White, Lavender, Gray, Blue and Brown.

Samsung is also planning to include improved S-Pen with Galaxy Note 9, and the accessory is highlighted in Samsung’s teaser video, suggest we will see significant improvement in that area. The new S-Pen is expected to include Bluetooth, and this could mean a button on the pen could be used for features such as a shutter button or to control media playback for example.
