Today, Bloomberg reported new details about the camera setup in Samsung Galaxy S11. First of all, Samsung is planning the biggest overhaul to the cameras in its flagship series. The Galaxy s11 will feature a 108MP primary camera to offer great still images. In addition, the S11 will feature an ultrawide angle lens and a 5X optical zoom telephoto lens. There will also be a time of flight sensor to enable improved depth effects and AR experiences.

Bloomberg also reported that Samsung will be releasing the clamshell Galaxy Fold in February. This upcoming Galaxy Fold device will feature the same 108MP primary camera and 5X zoom lens.

Galaxy S11 is going to be Samsung’s first flagship that will be launching in the first quarter of 2020 and while we already know quite a lot about it. We had reported that the design of the Samsung Galaxy S11+ will be different from that of the Galaxy S11. And the camera module on the Galaxy S11+ is going to be ‘very big,’ as opposed to the S11, which is going to feature a camera module that will occupy comparatively less area.
