Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC requirements have finally been released and they’re coming for your storage space.

After a not-so-surprise PC announcement last week following the release of the Rockstar Games Launcher, Rockstar has kept the game’s requirements close to their chest. Surprisingly, they’re not even that demanding.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the prettiest games ever made, which we said in our review, the PC hardware requisites are not too high at all. If the minimum specifications are held to the standards of the base Xbox One system, then PC players can expect a great experience.

The specifications are as follows:

Minimum Specs:

  • Windows 7 – Service Pack 1
  • Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • 8GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB/ AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • 150GB HDD Space

Recommended Specs:

  • Windows 10 – April 2018 update (v1803)
  • Intel i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • 12GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • 150GB HDD Space

The requirements state that the title will only be playable on 64-bit operating systems with a 64-bit processor. PC installation will require a Rockstar Games Social Club account and internet connection, just like with GTA V. We expect the title will have a heavy DRM interpretation.

What do you think of the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC requirements? Will you be playing the title on PC or will you stick to consoles? Does the 150GB storage requirement intimidate you?
