Months ago Bethesda revealed that several of its titles were getting enhanced on Xbox One X, but a couple of titles were notably left off of that list. One of those games was Prey, and it appears this is no longer the case.

Its store page on Microsoft’s website now lists it as Xbox One X enhanced, though exact enhancements are not detailed.

Only the Digital Deluxe Edition labels it as Xbox One X enhanced while the Standard Edition appears to have no such label. It’s easy to write this off as an error on Microsoft’s part, but Reddit users have confirmed that the game does appear to be running with sharper visuals.

Yesterday at Bethesda’s E3 2018 press conference the company revealed that Prey was getting a new Mooncrash DLC along with a free update that added a new game plus mode and a survival mode that are available now. Xbox One X enhancements weren’t mentioned at the time, but it looks like they may have surprised us.
