In the first batch of backward compatible titles to be announced after Thanksgiving, Larry Hryb has revealed that Peggle 2 and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of the Death will be playable on Xbox One soon.

It’s not exactly an impressive list of games—and “list” is being generous seeing as there are only two games this time—but Peggle 2 is quite a popular and fun title. This puzzle game, a blend of pachinko and pinball, tasks players with hitting all orange pegs in a level to advance. What makes Peggle so fun is that certain stages offer specific Peggle Masters which grant special abilities that can be used to your benefit. Oddly enough, Peggle 2 came to Xbox One several months before it released on Xbox 360. If you didn’t upgrade consoles by that point and are stuck with the 360 version, you’ll now be able to play it on Xbox One.

Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death is another Xbox Live Arcade title that was developed by Microsoft Studios and released in 2013. This hack-and-slash adventure follows Marlow Briggs, a smokejumper firefighter, as he attempts to defeat an evil industrial enemy while bound to an ancient Mayan mask.
