Microsoft is expected to introduce a new type of Surface device later this month at an event in New York. The company is expected to introduce an All-In-One device at the event. Now, according to a new report from China’s Economic Daily News (EDN), Microsoft is working Pegatron to produce the Surface AIO. This isn’t the first time Microsoft is working with Pegatron to produce Surface devices — the company previously worked with Pegatron on other Surface devices such as the Surface Pro 2. Interestingly enough, Pegatron is also one of Apple’s ODMs producing the iPhone and some other devices.

While Pegatron making the Surface AIO doesn’t actually mean much for the average joe, it could suggest that the Surface AIO will be a high-end all-in-one device just like most of the other products from the Surface line. EDN has also confirmed that the Surface AIO will come with Perceptive Pixel’s multi-touch technology — which was acquired by Microsoft back in late-2014. The Surface AIO is also rumored to come in three different sizes: a 21-inch variant, a 24-inch variant, and a 27-inch variant. Lastly, Microsoft will also introduce two different keyboards and mouse for the Surface AIO, which were leaked recently.

Interestingly enough, EDN states that Microsoft’s Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 devices will also be produced by Pegatron — but those devices are going to be revealed next year and feature Intel’s Kabylake processors.
