Panasonic Announces 3E, A 2-in-1 Windows Device Custom Developed For Education Market

Panasonic today unveiled its new 3E 2-in-1 student device custom developed for education market. It includes education software and a suite of professional development programs that ensure teachers are able to maximize schools’ technology investments and stay apace of emerging technology trends. Built to the IP51 standard, the 3E combines a shock-absorbing, rubber mid-frame with a tough, easy-to-grip textured exterior that can handle a fall from 70 cm and take life in a backpack without scratching or denting. Students can draw, take notes and navigate intuitively using their fingers and multi-touch gestures. For fine and detailed work, the included stylus offers precise control. It also comes with 1.2 MP front and 5MP back cameras.

The 3E’s The keyboard features a reversible dock, so the screen can be used facing the student for individual work or facing the world for presentations and group activities. Closed, the keyboard protects the screen and gives the student a built-in handle for carrying. 3E also ships with a thermal probe and SPARKvue® software that lets student scientists sample and record temperatures, graph changes over time, analyze and draw conclusions about physical phenomenon.
