In recent years, Chinese companies have taken the lead to innovate and are willing to place their bets on the new innovation. One such innovation was the removal of the notch and hide the front camera behind the screen. While we are still waiting on companies like Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi actually showcased the prototypes with an in-display front camera.

While neither of the companies revealed when we could actually see devices with an in-display camera, Oppo has gone ahead and filed a trademark for Find Y. The company launched the Find X last year and Find Y seems to be the successor to Find X. The trademark was filed with the WIPO on May 21, 2019, and has been classified as class 9 which includes smartphones.

There is still no solid connection between Find Y and in-display camera but considering the fact that Find X came with a motorized system to hide the notch, it seems fair that Find Y should replace Find X with an in-display selfie camera.
