We reported two weeks ago that the Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 or GG2 has passed through the FCC.  The headset is meant to provide hands-free access to information for workers on the shop floor.

Now some more detail regarding the device has been revealed after it showed up briefly on Geekbench.

As can be seen from the entry, noticed by MySmartPrice, the device is powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, running Android 8.1 Oreo.

From the FCC leak, we know the headset will look more or less the same as the earlier $1500 Google Glass.

The certification is only for WIFI and Bluetooth, showing that the device is still not 4G enabled.

From the FCC filing, we expect to see the headset hit the shop floor within the first half of 2019.
