Earlier this month, Microsoft Garage released a new app called Face Swap that allowed users to transport themselves into fun scenes using a selfie. Face Swap app was available only for Android devices till now. Today, Microsoft is expanding its availability to iOS devices running iOS 8 and above, including iPods, iPhones and iPads.
Microsoft’s Face Swap app uses what the firm intimates is sophisticated face swap engine which matches skin tone, lighting conditions, head turns, tilts etc. It works just like you’d expect, with the app automatically finding faces in images both captured live and already stored on your phone. You need to just take a selfie, choose a scene from your camera roll or the web, and swipe through your results.
Microsoft will frequently update their categories inside the app and since this app uses Bing search technolgy, it will allow users to try on latest fashions, pop themselves into trending scenes and more.
You can download it from Apple App Store here and Google Play Store here.
