A mere 6 months ago Microsoft announced that Microsoft Teams has 75 million daily active users.

A global pandemic later, Microsoft today announced during their earnings call that Microsoft Teams has 115 million daily active users,  with 30 billion collaboration minutes in a day.

While the growth is spectacular, it is not clear if this is enough to catch up video conferencing market leader Zoom, though an increasing number of companies are standardizing on Teams, which is often bundled with Microsoft 365.

Zoom has been rather cagey about its own numbers, saying it has 300 million daily active participants, which could include the same user counted multiple times, as they speak to different people.
