We’ve known that Microsoft has been exploring keyboard and mouse support for Xbox One for a while now, but it appears this feature may be coming sooner than expected. According to a post from Microsoft Poland (now deleted), plans for keyboard and mouse support for all Xbox One consoles have been confirmed (via Windows Latest).

Though the article was originally published in Polish, its translation through Google can still be understood well enough.

“Some players prefer to conquer the virtual world with a pad in hand. Others, above all, value the precision of the mouse movements. Others, however, can not imagine playing on anything other than a keyboard. Now, owners of Xbox One consoles (including Xbox One S models and the latest Xbox One X) can choose these accessories and decide for themselves what they will use. “PC Master Race”? Thanks to the keyboard support, we can already successfully talk about “Xbox Master Race”!”

It’s possible that this post from Microsoft Poland could have been a mistake, but it also was likely just published a little too early, leaking the plans before they were ready to be officially announced. Unfortunately, a date was not provided in the article indicating when this feature is supposed to release.
