Microsoft has finally integrated its Copilot into the beta version V6. 24 of its Launcher app for Android smartphones and tablets. This update replaces the previously available Bing Chat functionality and brings AI assistant directly to Android homescreen
Those enrolled in the beta program can access Copilot with a simple swipe. This will let them ask questions and receive answers or use the AI for creative tasks like generating text and images with just a few words or everything a Copilot does.
We’re thrilled to enhance your Microsoft Launcher experience with the integration of Copilot right into your feed. This update brings your everyday AI companion closer to you:
– Effortless Access: Copilot is now just a swipe away, ready to assist you with answers and content creation.
– Creative Power: Generate images and text directly from your mobile feed using simple words.
– Pro Performance: For our Copilot Pro users, enjoy a more responsive and swift interaction.
The update also has improved performance for Copilot Pro users and has a more responsive and faster interaction experience.
While there’s no official word on when the Copilot features will be available to the general public using the Microsoft Launcher, users can already access the standalone Copilot app, which has been on the Google Play Store since December 2023.
It’s important to note that some of the advanced features available in the standalone Copilot Pro app, such as Vacation Planner, Cooking Assistant, Fitness Trainer, and Notebook, are not currently accessible through the Microsoft Launcher integration.
